the monday edit
i’m not going to say it was another wild week (even though it was), but it was a good week. per usual, there is a lot going on at work. i work in wine retail, and that thing that rhymes with sheriff, has been a lot. i also am leaving for spain and france again in a little less than two weeks, which really snuck up on me.
the weekend was perfect! we had gorgeous weather, warm (again, and hopefully to stay). we took full advantage, happy housing on friday with the kids, grabbing our favorite tacos on the way home. we had a lazy start on saturday, grabbed brunch at our favorite local deli saturday before having a picnic afternoon with friends. sunday was full of easter eggs, tiny treats, long walks, iced lattes, griliing, champagne, scooters, and couch snuggles.
we’re day dreaming about summer vacations and sneaking to the beach, lake and visiting friends. whether it was the promise of good weather this weekend, feeling slightly less chaotic all week, or just because, i was feeling super inspired this week. i had so much fun diving into some of my favorites, including substacks i love, pinterest, and good talks with friends, i was feeling all of the things and i feel even more excited to get creative again. more to come there…
