the monday edit
happy monday! we had such a fun weekend, predominantly celebrating halloween a week early. my children are so into halloween this year - all of the decor, the chance to dress up, and that little bite of fall in the air. we went on a “late night" halloween walk friday night, and then had a small halloween party saturday. maya wanted an excuse for snacks, her friends to visit, and costumes, so why not.
sunday was for snuggles, football, and slightly regrouping. we were lazier than normal, and started the morning snuggling in bed, but also played outside and obviously hit up the playground.
this is the week! maya is brimming with excitement for halloween and actually trick or treating and everything that will come with it. her school has a halloween parade, and early dismissal, so friday will feel like a real holiday. we can’t wait. bring on the treats.
i hope everyone has a great week and most importantly enjoys the spooky season!
