the monday edit
happy happy monday! what a big weekend. we had the best halloween, and are supremely exhausted by everything else that came with the weekend, but in the best way.
we spent a spooky friday playing hooky together, went out to lunch, took naps, trick or treated, and did all of the spooky hunting (aka finding any halloween house possible). the rest of the weekend was full of playdates, playgrounds, harry potter, and snuggles on the couch.
i ran one of my favorite 10ks that i’ve run in the past few years; it’s local and convenient, plus there’s a kids run that maya attempted this year, which was made me so proud.

atomic habits (james clear) - honestly, i’m just restarting this again, and loving it.
don't believe everything you think (joseph nguyen) - this is on my list; i love some non-fiction right around this time of year.
currently reading… my list is long because i’m juggling library holds…
intermezzo (sally rooney) - i just got this off holds from my library.
five tuesdays in winter, a book (lily king) - possibly finishing this week.
good dirt (charmaine wilkerson) - still so good.
i finished wild dark short (charlotte mcconaghy) this week, and loved it, and felt all of the things. another one of the best i’ve read this year.
i also finished brooklyn (colm toibin) is enjoyed it.
with the books i finished this week, i’m starting the woman in suite 11 (ruth ware) and i might read some chick lit just to break up the list i’ve had going.
currently watching:
quarterback and starting five (netflix) - sports docuseries are my favorite
so excited to start the new season of nobody wants this
